Day 38 - Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin

Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Prairie du  Chien, Wisconsin
Today we mostly drove and geocached. We also stopped at a few Roadside America type places. None of us had ever been to Minnesota and the kids had never been to Wisconsin, so we went :) Look closely and you will see Hannah and Isaiah in the picture above. And yes, that is the Jolly Green Giant.

Luverne, Minnesota
This was a great little town. I would have loved to have spent more time here.

This was a Historical Society Museum with a nutcracker collection (over 4,000 right now). They also had old telephones, phonographs, an organ, and other antique items. It was fun to look at the old stuff and explain to the kids what everything was.

They even had a working jukebox that plays 45s. We listened to a couple songs on it. The kids loved it! I have more pictures from the museum in my Minnesota album.

Jolly Green Giant
Roadside America at its finest! I walked to the bathroom and when I came out they were all sitting at the puzzle working on it. David loves puzzles, so we did it really quick.

Iowa
This is the only picture I took in Iowa, but we will be there most of the day tomorrow, so I'll get some then.

Wisconsin
As soon as I said something about Wisconsin, Hannah said she wanted "Wisconsin cheese curds". So I found Fort Mulligan's Grill Pub. They had them and they were amazing! They were like mozzarella cheese sticks but with Wisconsin white cheddar. There are a few other pictures in my Wisconsin album, but we weren't there long (just crossed the border to get a few caches and eat cheese curds).

So far, we have driven 9,000 miles and have been through 21 states. We have also visited 18 National Parks, 9 additional historic sites, and 1 presidential library.
