Today was a long driving day. Other than a little sight seeing on the Beartooth Highway, we didn't do much except drive. The above picture was taken at the highest point of the Beartooth Highway.
Beartooth Highway
We saw two waterfalls today. If we had hiked, we could have seen more, but we had a lot of driving to do so we passed on the hiking today.
The namesake... Can you see the"beartooth"?
Other Interesting Sights from Today
There is a convenience store brand, Sinclair, that we have seen all over the west and most locations have a green dinosaur out front of the store. Occasionally they will be decorated. One we saw in, I think, Colorado had sprinkles like a donut. This one had a saddle so the kids wanted pics of them riding the dinosaur.
This is NOT the sign you want to see, but I'm glad they have trained the rattlesnakes to stay off the sidewalk ;) It was at a rest area.
On another note, we have AC and Internet and cell service again. Also, the kids are now the farthest north they have ever been. My other pictures from today are in my Montana album.
So far, we have driven 7,500 miles on this trip. We have been to 15 National Parks, 7 additional historic sites, 1 presidential library and been through 16 states.
