We spent the day in Yellowstone today. This has got to be the weirdest place I've ever been. There is so much to do here and every spot looks completely different. The above picture is from Grand Prismatic Spring.
Waterfalls
Firehole Falls in Yellowstone. I had no idea there were so many waterfalls in Yellowstone. We didn't even see half of them. Next time...
Geysers, Pools, & Hot Springs
The last picture is a mud pot. I have several videos in my Yellowstone album of the geysers and mud pots. It was definitely a unique place to visit. Isaiah was totally in his element.
Wildlife
We were kind of bummed because we hadn't really seen any wildlife today. But on the way out, we saw a lot! There were literally hundreds of bison. And there must have been a serious baby-boom this year because I think there were as many babies as adults.
On another note, I managed to book rooms 2 nights in a row that had no AC. We were not happy campers. I'm hoping we have AC from here on out.
So far, we have driven 7,150 miles on this trip. We have been to 15 National Parks, 7 additional historic sites, 1 presidential library and been through 16 states.
