Day 14 - Lava Cave & London Bridge

Sedona, Arizona to Lake Havasu, Arizona
We're back on the road today. The above picture is from Lava River Cave near Flagstaff, Arizona.

Breakfast with Aunt Elon
Since we stayed out late at Lowell Observatory last night, we were not ready to pull out first thing this morning, so we had breakfast with Aunt Elon before leaving.

Geocaching
Yep... It's a geocache!

We spotted this guy at the cache.

Lava River Cave
This was an adventure for sure! Unfortunately, it was too dark to get good shots, but it was really cool... Literally and metaphorically. It's between 32 and 40 degrees year round. I added the rest of the pics from the lava cave to the Sedona & Flagstaff album.

London Bridge
Yes, this is the actual London Bridge. It was taken apart, brought to the U.S., and reassembled. My only question is... why?

Arizona Traveling Pics
We really wanted to go to Saguaro National Park, but it didn't make the cut. We drove by this saguaro cactus in Yucca, Arizona and had to get a pic. It was about 20 feet tall.

I think we've worn her out.

For the record... I would not have guessed it's 100 degrees. I guess there's something to that dry heat thing after all! Then, after 50 miles (and closer to water), it felt closer to 100 degrees.

I'm assuming this is a lava field? It was somewhere along the interstate in western Arizona. I added the rest of today's photos to the Arizona - Random album.

So far, we have driven 4,000 miles on this trip!
